Bertrand has over 12 years of financial industry experience. In 2010, Bertrand joined Advenis Investment Managers serving as Head of Sales. Advenis is a French Asset Management platform specialised in onboarding entrepreneurial fund managers. He played an important role in the set-up of several alternative new products, from the investment managers’ selection to the marketing launch of a new fund. Since 2014, he managed a team of 3 people and sold financial products including real estate funds, hedge funds and long only funds. He was also successful with a range of quantitative Global Macro funds. Bertrand began his career at Société Générale CIB in 2008, selling investment products, mainly structured products and corporate bonds.
Education: Graduated from the University of Caen (Normandy) with a Master degree in Financial Engineering and Capital Markets.
Antoine Durieu has more than 30 years of experience in asset management dealing primarily with French Institutional Investors.
Before creating Elea Capital, Antoine Durieu was Managing Director (France) at HDF Investment Solutions, now named Rothschild HDF Investments Solutions. Antoine Durieu joined HDF in 1999 in order to promote alternative investment strategies to Institutional Investors. Since 2008, he has raised, alone and then with his team, more than 1 billion euro. Prior to this, Antoine Durieu has held various positions such as Client Relations Director (high-end private client, then SMEs) and Assistant Branch Manager at a subsidiary of Société Générale and then at SanPaolo Bank.
Education : Graduated from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques of Paris, Master’s degree in economics and BA in Business Law from the Université Paris X-Nanterre.
David Beaufils has over 18 years of experience in the asset management industry selling assets to Institutional Investors : security investments, private equity and paper real estate. He is currently Managing Partner at Elea Capital. Prior to this, David was Head of Sales and a Board Member at Rothschild HDF Investment Solutions, formerly HDF Finance, between 2008 and 2012. He joined HDF Finance in 2003 to promote their range of alternative investment funds to Institutional Investors. David started his career as Institutional Sales Manager at Invesco Asset Management at their Paris’ office.
Education: David holds a post-graduate degree in Finance from ESC La Rochelle University, he also holds an HEC degree in Marketing and Business Development. As part of his study, he wrote a thesis in 2003, about Socially Responsible Investments “SRI”.
